WE'RE SURROUNDED BY CRAZY PEOPLE

There is no provision in the Texas constitution that says we have an unique privilege to secede from the United States. Before the 14th amendment, any state had that power. As it is now....I am a citizen of the United States and a Texas secession could not take that away from me.

Other thing your mother told you that was not true: Any state can fly their flag at the same height as the US flag. We are just the only ones who choose to do so.

KP is correct. Almost. By which I mean I would be surprised if nobody else were flying their flag at the same height. And God bless him or her for knowing the truth. I get tired of those silly "TEXAS!!!!" e-mails I keep seeing.
